Beauty: Skin Care Products I Regret Buying

#HolaBoo's

When it comes to purchasing beauty products, there's always a risk, the final preference will result in this two following statement:
We either din't like it or it will not function for us as expected.

Sometimes we see our favorite, bloggers, YoutuBers, rave about how freaking awesome certain products are, specially Skin Care products.

As I have been dealing with lots of skin care issues, I honestly have tried a lot of things this year which lots of the products that worked wonders for others, just didn't work for me at all.

I purchased this products based on reviews I watched, read, and heard about.

As I mentioned when you're dealing with Skin Issues (Acne mainly) you want to try everything just to get rid of it!

I have listed the products that I regret purchasing simply because they did not work for me at all!

1. Acne Stress Control Toner

Although I've heard a lot of people rave about this products, this products did not help me at all, I've actually noticed it made my acne worse the time I used it.

LIFESTYLE: Needing Time alone but not wanting to be alone?

#HolaMami’s

Welcome to my first #MaMiMonday Series!

On here I will be sharing some of the #MamiStruggles or anything related to the Mami World!

I am a full time single momI’ve spent the past 5 years completely dedicated to my Cheeseball (my daughter) when I say full time it’s because all I do is work and be with her 100% of the time, there is no going out, dropping her off with the mom so I can go eat, club, drink, shop none of that.

BEAUTY: The Vampy Look - Simple Way

#HolaBoo's

I have been obsessed with the "Vampy Look" and I found a photo of "MaryCake"  (if you don't already follow her, you must do so now!) She's the perfect example of the perfect Vampy looks!

I fell in love with that look, is just the perfect non-difficult way to achieve the "Vampy Look" Of course there are plenty of looks related with the "Vampy Look" but this one is very simple, yet it creates the perfect statement of that dark look.

BEAUTY: The 3 products I Couldn't Resist

#HolaBoo’s

Lately there have been tons and tons and tons and more tons of new makeup products.
Ranging from foundations, highlighters, contour palettes, and the new eye shadow palette that we already have but was just released with new names or other brands therefore we must get it.

Even though I've tried my best and trust me the best to stay away from the hype sometimes the power of wanting to try a product is stronger than me, and I mean so much stronger than my will!

I am listing the 3 products I really couldn't resist to buy!!

I've watched plenty of YouTube reviews before purchasing this product, I was about to purchase it for about 3 times than I
decided to put it back until I finally got it.

What it promises:

Maybelline's SuperStay Better Skin Foundation gives an all-day flawless coverage and better-looking skin in 3 weeks.
The foundation reduces the appearance of spots, bumps, dullness and redness and gives you a brighter, more even and smoother skin.

What it really does:

Truly at least 7 hour full coverage, 12 + hours gives you a light coverage. It does reduces the appearance of spots, it does not reduces the appearance of bumps, but it does not make them too visible either if that makes sense.

The color range is not very wide, which it makes it difficult to find your shade, but I’m pretty sure that by mixing two will give you the perfect color; I choose not to purchase two and just go with the shade “Natural Beige”
Over all I love that It's not dewy but it's not totally matte either, it gives a really nice radiant look which made me fall in love with this foundation and now is my to go foundation!

2. NYX COSMETICS- Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick

I have been waiting for this product for a quite a while, specially the really bright purple one, Lime Crime has a product basically like this purple on but I didn't want to spend no $20.00 on it! Yeah, yeah call me cheap lol.

Amethyst, from NYX is the perfect shade, the perfect purple, the perfect lipstick!
I got mine from Ulta with a really good deal where you
purchase 2 NYX items and you get 1 free!
So I picked up 3 lippies! (well the 1st time, I did go back for another 3)

1.Amethyst

2.Orange County

3.Tea & Cookies

$20.00 for a face sponge, well I failed to resist this one right here.

I fought it for so long but I finally gave in.
I kept on purchasing the real techniques sponge to get away the thought of the beautyblendaaa but one day I walked into Sephora and said you know what fudge it let me get the beauty blender.
I-re watched Kandee Johnson beauty blender review again and again I picked it up, put it back than I finally purchased it lol!

It is well worth the $20.00 investment blends beautifully, good to use with liquid or powder products!
(Please excuse my dirty BeatyBlendaaaaa)

Love Always,

BEAUTY: So Worth The Splurge

#HolaBoo's

How are you all doing #Queens?

Being a single mom and a make up addict doesn't go along very well, does it?

I always tend and have purchased more drug store products than those high end ones.

My very first expensive make up purchase was the MAC Viva Glam Nicki Lipstick followed by their foundation, and oh lord I must confess the guilt lingered with me for a few days.

As I kept getting more into make up I kept on discovering product, after product, brands after brands, and more higher prices, of course watching YouTube videos doesn't help much either huh!

One thing I have learned and want everyone to know is that you don't have to feel pressured or forced to follow the hype yes yes yes I know how much our favorite beauty bloggers praise and tell us how much they love such product or how we should totally get it, but it's really important you learn how to really #splurge wisely.

There's not worse feeling than when you splurge on something that was totally not worth the hype or the splurge!

Below you will find the items I totally support on splurge lol and they are totally #GUILTFREE

This are my to go to's when it comes to foundations & primers full coverage and light coverage when you just want to cover those imperfections.

There has been plenty of hype for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palettes but this Lorac is hands down the best, plus the fact that it comes with the contour brush for only $45.00 is a total WIN!

& the biggest hype of the beauty world is no other than Anastasia Beverly Hills Products, I own the contour palette and this two beauties and this 2 eye shadow palettes are amazingly pigmented and easy to blend and they are NOT that expensive.

Love Always,

BEAUTYl Travel Must Haves

#HolaBoo's this summer is almost over...honestly I haven't really felt like its summer, usually here in Texas we are all toasted by this time frame but we haven't had a HOT HOT summer this year, util recently last couple of weeks and everyone seems to be bit*** about it already -___-

I enjoy going here and there once in a while, my daughter actually loves to travel and stay at hotels and of course it's always a good thing I work in the hotel industry otherwise I don't think we could go here and there very often.

So far we've taken two small trips, which were to Austin, TX and Galveston, TX. She loves the water, pools you name it, I tell her she will turn into a mermaid and she gets all exited lol.

Packing for trips is such a hard thing for us women don't you think? we have soooo much stuff we 'need' that we just can just leave it behind even if it means not using it for one or two days, isn't this true?

Back in April when I went to #California I stuffed a big ol' 29 in, expandable rolling bag, and honestly I had more make up and shoes than anything else.

I had to be sent back twice to re arrange my stuff so I wouldn't have to pay overweight fees ughhhh worst thing ever.

Taking this smalls trips, I've learned to say no to all the beauty products I love and only take the ones that I actually need the most.

Take a look at my necessities for when I travel.

Skin Care

Murad Acne Starter Kit

Since my ance is on at a 100% I found this travel size Murad acne treatment (face wash not photographed)

I have been using this to sort of keep my acne less active and the size is perfecto to travel with.

Moisturizers ( I don't know how to pronounce this in real life lol)

Clarant B3 - Normal to Dry

I recently started using this little boy, I remember when I was little back in Mexico my mom used to use this and I remember her having great results from it and the size come on tiny itty bitty!

POND'S Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream

This is something I have recently started using as well, up until my 26 years I have not use a anti-wrinkle cream or none of that matter, my mom used to get on to me for that. I incorporated this to my skin care routine to try it our and start preventing. I only apply this on my eyes and also my neck. I purchase the travel size not that big jar.

Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel

Usually when you travel you tend to sleep later and waking up earlier to actually enjoy the trip specially if it's a small one right? I use the little boy when I am more tired than usual, you know when you have that burning sensation in your eyes even after you washed them oh and not to mentioned they are puffy as they can be.

Make-Up

This is the good stuff....

Naked2 Palette

With thousands of eye palettes available or that you own how can you narrow it down to not carry everything when you travel...IMPOSSIBLE!

I have completed narrowed it down to this one right here, you can not go wrong with this one. Color scheme ranges from your pales to your deep colors everything you need right?...until you look around on your vanity and see all the other palettes you own....

Make up brushes - another hard thing to pack when you travel, who invented this???! lol

I narrowed it down to 6 brushes and this few brushes seem to be doing the job done while traveling.

Top to bottom:

1. REAL TECHNIQUES-Blush Brush
2. Real Techniques Core Collection- Contour Brush (I don't think they sell it alone)
3. e.l.f. studio Blush Brush
4. BH Cosmetics Blending Brush (Mine is from this collection)
5. Wet n Wild Eye shadow Brush (99 cents for this is awesoooome, I use this one for blending, I've purchased a few and so shred hair and some don't, do not get discouraged)
6. Sonia Kashuk Brush- I am not sure about this one since I stole it a long time ago from my mom.

Foundations

Maybelline Fit Me Dewy-Smooth with SPF 18

REAL TECHNIQUES-Miracle Complexion Sponge

Most of the time when we travel it tends to be somewhere where you will be sweating a lot, or often, with my pimples and acne I still try not to cake up my face therefore I try to bring the not so heavy foundations with me because they will just wash out with the sweat ewww grosss! lol

Since I'm having dry skin due to all the mess I been putting on due to my acne, I have been mixing this two boys and been getting good results, also applying this with the real techniques sponge has been giving me a better result than a foundation brush. &&&&& to top it all off just use your $7.00 setting spray for Mario Badescu and tadaaaaaaaaa!

What are your Travel Must Haves?!!

MARIO BADESCU-Facial Spray With Aloe,Herb and Rosewater

Love Always,
