LIFESTYLE: SMOCKED SET

Last month I was supposed to go out for vacation with my child, for some reason we were never able to come to an agreement on where we were going to go.

Than when we had a location, but something didn't feel right.

I sort of always tend to be pretty good with intuitions, therefore when I decide to ignore red lights, I take it upon myself really hard.
This time I really went with my intuition and we cancelled plane tickets and all.

Fast forward to the day of our vacation, we decided to road trip and go somewhere "Local"

We headed out to San Antonio.

The last time I was in San Antonio, was when I was around 17.

That time, I only went to the river walk and that was all, I really dint't explore.

This time around, I wanted to explore a bit more, I was amazed on how much San Antonio reminded me of Mexico, City.

Here in Fort Worth, we have so many places that sort of take me back to Mexico, but not quite like Mexico, City.

We made out first stop at El Mercado (Market Square) the shops there, definitely brought the feeling of Mexico, City Historic Center (El Centro).

I walked into almost all the shops at El Mercado, although a lot of them have similar products, it just felt amazing to see authentic products, clothes, food from Mexico.

That day I also knew I wanted to look stylish and most of all comfy.

I decided to rock this outfit I found at the Target sale rack.

Since that month I had been working "harder than usual" at the gym I decided to just go for it and show a little fatness.
 I paired this outfit with this shoes I recently purchase that are super comfortable and the denim detail is life!!

This bold and dynamic outfit was perfect for out outing at El Mercado.

Straw purses were so in, this summer, again, if you visit Mexico you can see people make them at the shops.

When I saw this purse I was in love, and had to buy it!!

Best thing about the purse it was only $20.00

December is here!

Which means, there will be some sort of travel involved in families!

In a blink of an eye, July is over!

Next thing we know, Halloween will be over than Christmas will be here!

We often used to joke about how amazingly fast time was passing by, but now the weeks just go by so quick!

July was a bit busy for me, with job change, road trip and few other things. 
Therefore the reason you all are now just seeing this post!

This past 4th of July we decided to take a road trip!

Austin is my favorite place to go in Texas.
I just love the vibe from the city and how kid friendly it is.

In today's post I want to bring you all the amazing experience in Volunteering at the #WeAllGrow Summit 2016.

There are no enough words to really describe the amazing , pampering, and fun experience. So I decided to put it together in photos!

I was helping out at the Register table, which got a little cray cray (I hope my fave Influencers don't hate me when we were struggling to find their names)

I want to thank her so, so much for feeding me the first day!

She shared this story to me on how this night was the first time she had smile, since a really long time, her sister is fighting cancer. I am so happy #WeAllGrow was able to steal a smile from her.

Back in April  I traveled to #California to mark off one of my #MamiGoals which was to take my Daughter to Disneyland for her 5^th birthday.

Welcome to 2016! 

Ayyyy wey we are totally into a new year and I am honestly ok with it. 

Other years I tend to beat my self on how sucky it might of been, but I am leaning how to become more Thankful and appreciative of what I actually have, rather than bitching of what I don't have.

In 2015 I was able to travel over to a few places, from short road trips to spending 15 days in California which is where my heart is and most importantly taking my Cheeball to Disneyland for her 5th birthday.

Traveling will be one of the things I want to experience more in 2016. Working in the Hospitality industry has it's perks and I am willing to start using them, not to mention my daughter loves to travel!

Let's get our list started!

I must mention most of my travel if not all, will be with my Daughter, I have separation anxiety and I can not travel without her #SingleMomProblems

BEAUTYl Travel Must Haves

#HolaBoo's this summer is almost over...honestly I haven't really felt like its summer, usually here in Texas we are all toasted by this time frame but we haven't had a HOT HOT summer this year, util recently last couple of weeks and everyone seems to be bit*** about it already -___-

I enjoy going here and there once in a while, my daughter actually loves to travel and stay at hotels and of course it's always a good thing I work in the hotel industry otherwise I don't think we could go here and there very often.

So far we've taken two small trips, which were to Austin, TX and Galveston, TX. She loves the water, pools you name it, I tell her she will turn into a mermaid and she gets all exited lol.

Packing for trips is such a hard thing for us women don't you think? we have soooo much stuff we 'need' that we just can just leave it behind even if it means not using it for one or two days, isn't this true?

Back in April when I went to #California I stuffed a big ol' 29 in, expandable rolling bag, and honestly I had more make up and shoes than anything else. 
I had to be sent back twice to re arrange my stuff so I wouldn't have to pay overweight fees ughhhh worst thing ever.

Taking this smalls trips, I've learned to say no to all the beauty products I love and only take the ones that I actually need the most.

Murad Acne Starter Kit

Since my ance is on at a 100% I found this travel size Murad acne treatment (face wash not photographed)
I have been using this to sort of keep my acne less active and the size is perfecto to travel with.

Moisturizers ( I don't know how to pronounce this in real life lol)

Clarant B3 - Normal to Dry

I recently started using this little boy, I remember when I was little back in Mexico my mom used to use this and I remember her having great results from it and the size come on tiny itty bitty!

POND'S Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream

This is something I have recently started using as well, up until my 26 years I have not use a anti-wrinkle cream or none of that matter, my mom used to get on to me for that. I incorporated this to my skin care routine to try it our and start preventing. I only apply this on my eyes and also my neck. I purchase the travel size not that big jar.

Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel

Usually when you travel you tend to sleep later and waking up earlier to actually enjoy the trip specially if it's a small one right? I use the little boy when I am more tired than usual, you know when you have that burning sensation in your eyes even after you washed them oh and not to mentioned they are puffy as they can be.

With thousands of eye palettes available or that you own how can you narrow it down to not carry everything when you travel...IMPOSSIBLE!

I have completed narrowed it down to this one right here, you can not go wrong with this one. Color scheme ranges from your pales to your deep colors everything you need right?...until you look around on your vanity and see all the other palettes you own....

Make up brushes - another hard thing to pack when you travel, who invented this???! lol

I narrowed it down to 6 brushes and this few brushes seem to be doing the job done while traveling.

6. Sonia Kashuk Brush- I am not sure about this one since I stole it a long time ago from my mom.

REAL TECHNIQUES-Miracle Complexion Sponge

Most of the time when we travel it tends to be somewhere where you will be sweating a lot, or often, with my pimples and acne I still try not to cake up my face therefore I try to bring the not so heavy foundations with me because they will just wash out with the sweat ewww grosss! lol

Since I'm having dry skin due to all the mess I been putting on due to my acne, I have been mixing this two boys and been getting good results, also applying this with the real techniques sponge has been giving me a better result than a foundation brush. &&&&& to top it all off just use your $7.00 setting spray for Mario Badescu and tadaaaaaaaaa!
